Tavira is the largest town in the Eastern Algarve, being 18kms from Faro Airport. It takes approximately 30 minutes to drive from the airport to the Villa. The Eastern Algarve is the unspoilt part, and goes a long way to providing an insight into how things used to be. The town of Tavira has most things to offer, such as a vegetable market, daily fish market, shops, bars, restaurants, bank, hospital and a post office etc. Tennis courts are available at the Eurotel Hotel complex, which is 1km east of Tavira.
